Learn How Mausoleum Are Designed and Built


The solid granite side walls have been assembled on the foundation.  The entire structure is constructed of premium-quality Royal Sable granite with Cold Springs Black granite accent features. The name plate across the entire front of the building contains the family name and epitaph that have been hand-chiseled into the fine black granite. This rear view of the finished mausoleum shows how the beautiful leaded glass windows overlook the crypt. (See Below)
 
Private Mausoleum Construction

The interior floor of the mausoleum is constructed of an inlaid, black granite into an all-polished, royal sable granite.  Each piece is hand-cut. (See Below)
 

The Interior holds two crypts made of solid sable brown granite.  Five custom-designed leaded glass windows depicting significant religious scenes will adorn the inside of the mausoleum.  (See Below)

All joints and seams are professionally sealed with a special silicone sealant. (See Below)
 
Professional Family Mausoleum Design Services

The custom door frame is constructed of a premium black granite.  It has a semi-circle arched top that complements the architectual theme of the building's windows and doors. (See Below)

Special dowel holes are drilled so that the granite pieces can be pinned together in the window frames.  These pieces are precisely cut to fit with close tolerance. (See Below)

This is one of five custom made, leaded stained glass windows that adorn the building.  Each of these windows is covered on the outside by a 1/4 inch sheet of lexan for their protection. (See Below)

The entry to the mausoleum is a solid bronze door, custom manufactured with an arched top.  Its window panels are 1/4 inch thick lexan. (See Below)

The entryway stairs have a double-curved design to compliment the architectual style of the building.  These stairs are made of solid royal sable granite and have a flame finish for traction and safety. (See Below)

These maginficant polished, turned, tapered black granite columns are adorned with hand-sculpted corinthian capitals. (See Below)

Magnificant bronze inlays in the corner posts flank the beautiful polished, turned ballisters.  These features surround the solid bronze entryway door. (See Below)

The center cap for the roof is a solid piece of royal sable granite. (See Below)

These large, seamless pieces of granite will span the roof from front to back.  The roof is constructed of only three pieces of royal sable granite that join together with a center cap. (See Below)
